Okay, here’s my experience trying to find some goth lingerie in plus sizes:
So, I’ve been wanting to spice things up a bit, you know? And I thought, “Hey, why not try some goth-inspired lingerie?” I love the whole dark, romantic, Victorian-ish vibe. But, man, finding stuff that fits and looks good is a whole other story.
First, I started with the, well, the obvious way. I looked around at many different brands, you know, the usual places. Nothing. Plenty of cute stuff, but not in my size. It was all, like, teeny-tiny little things. Seriously, who are these made for?!
Then, I tried expanding my search. I was thinking, “Okay, maybe I need to check out some specialty stores, or, I don’t know, even look at online places.” I was looking at everything – corsets, babydolls, those little lace-up things… I spent, like, a whole afternoon just scrolling and clicking.
I did find a couple of things that were almost right. Like, they had the general look I was going for – dark colors, some lace, maybe a bit of velvet. But the fit was always the issue. Either the cups were way too small, or the straps were digging in, or the whole thing just looked… frumpy. Not exactly the sexy, confident look I was aiming for.
What I did:
- Spent hours browsing online.
- Checked out a few “alternative” clothing stores.
- Considered getting something custom-made (but, ouch, the price!).
- I did it! Find something.
Eventually, after a few days, I found a shop and got lucky. I found a couple of pieces that actually fit really well and looked amazing. And I looked amazing, haha.
It was a frustrating but the result was perfect!
