Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “trendy gothic lingerie” thing popping up all over my socials, and I was like, “Alright, let’s give this a shot.” I’m no expert, but I wanted to see if I could pull off the look. I’m all about trying new styles, even if they’re a bit out of my comfort zone.
First, I scrolled through a bunch of pictures online. You know, just to get a feel for what “trendy gothic” even means these days. It’s not like the Hot Topic stuff from back in the day. It’s more…refined? I guess? Lots of lace, dark colors, but with some modern cuts and details.
My Hunt for the Perfect Pieces
- I started with a basic black lace bra. Figured that was a safe bet. Nothing too crazy, just something with a little bit of an edge.
- Then I looked for some high-waisted bottoms. I’m not really a thong person, so I went with something that had more coverage but still looked, you know, gothic.
- I also found this cute little garter belt thing. It seemed like a must-have for the whole “gothic” vibe. I wasn’t sure if I’d actually wear it out, but it felt right for the experiment.
- Finally，I add some fishnet stockings.
Putting It All Together
Okay, so I put on the bra and bottoms first. Already feeling a little bit like a vampire queen, haha. Then came the garter belt. That was…interesting. I fiddled with it for a while, trying to get it to sit right. It’s definitely not something I’d wear every day, but it did add to the overall look.
After I put everyting together, I stood before my mirror and I felt really really good, it is a very special experiece for me.
I’m still not sure if “trendy gothic lingerie” is really my thing, but it was fun to try something different.
