Okay, so I got really into this whole “goth lingerie” thing recently. It all started with browsing Tumblr, you know, late at night, getting lost in the aesthetic. I kept seeing these amazing pictures, and I was like, “I gotta try this.”
First, I spent, like, hours just scrolling through Tumblr. I mean, there’s a ton of stuff tagged “goth lingerie,” so I needed to narrow it down. I started noticing a few things I really liked – lots of black lace, obviously, some velvet, and definitely some strappy details.
I made a mood board, basically just saving a bunch of pictures I liked. This helped me figure out what specific pieces I was looking for. Like, did I want a full-on corset? Or maybe just a cute bralette and high-waisted shorts? Big decisions, people!
My Goth Lingerie Hunt
Then came the actual shopping part. This was a little tricky. Finding stuff that was both “goth” and “lingerie” and also, you know, fit me, was a whole process. I bounced between some online shope and I was checking them out.
- Some of shop had some cool stuff, but a lot of it was, like, costume-y. Not really what I was going for.
- Another store had more “everyday” lingerie, but not much in the goth style.
Eventually, I found a few pieces I liked. I ended up getting a black lace bralette, some high-waisted shorts with lace-up details on the sides, and a really cool, sort of sheer, robe-thing with these big, dramatic sleeves. Very witchy vibes.
When the stuff arrived, I was so excited! I tried everything on right away. The bralette fit perfectly, and the shorts were surprisingly comfortable. The robe was amazing. I felt like a total goth queen, seriously.
I even took some pictures – for myself, of course. Okay, maybe I put one on my private story. The lighting was key. I used a dark background and some red-toned lights to really set the mood. It was all about the atmosphere, you know?
So yeah, that’s my whole goth lingerie Tumblr adventure. It was fun, a little bit of a challenge, but totally worth it. I feel awesome, and that’s what matters, right?
