Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this idea for a “witchcraft shop” lately, and I figured I’d share the whole chaotic process, start to finish.
Getting Started: The Idea
First, I was just messing around, doodling and stuff, and suddenly I wanted to make it, this whole digital storefront thing popped into my head. I wanted it to be, like, super atmospheric, you know? Dark, maybe a little spooky, but also kinda inviting.
The Rough Sketch
So, I started with the basic layout. What should the shop look like? I’m not use any fancy tools at this stage. Just drawing stuff out and seeing what sticks.
- Overall layout: I think it should be a wide angle view.
- Main elements: Shelves full of jars, maybe a cauldron bubbling in the corner, some hanging herbs, a dusty old book on the counter… classic witchy stuff.
Building the Shelves and Jars
The shelves were going to be a big part of it, so I started drawing * came the jars – loads of them. Different shapes, sizes, some with weird labels. This part took a while, because I wanted them to look kinda old and dusty, not all perfect and new.

Adding the Details & Atmosphere
This is where it got fun. I drew more stuff to the background, trying different ideas. I played with light and shadows, trying to get that dim, mysterious lighting just right. I try to make it look old, worn-out, and maybe a little bit creepy.
The Final Touches
Once I was happy with all the elements, I spend some time cleaning * the colors and making it a little darker.
And… that’s pretty much it! It’s still a work in progress, of course. I might add some animations later, like flickering candles or smoke from the cauldron. But for now, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. It’s definitely got that witchy vibe I was going for!
