Stevie Nicks Witchcraft Connections: Songs and Lyrics Decoded

Stevie Nicks Witchcraft Week: Embrace Magic, Music, and Self-Discovery

Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into the whole Stevie Nicks witchy vibe lately. It’s more than just the shawls and the tambourine, you know? I wanted to really get it, so I decided to do a little experiment. I’m calling it my “Stevie Nicks Witchcraft” practice week.

Day 1: Setting the Mood

First, I gathered some stuff. I’m not talking about eye of newt or anything crazy. Just things that felt…Stevie. I got a bunch of candles – different colors, mostly purples, blacks, and golds. I also picked up some crystals. I don’t know much about them, but I went with amethyst (because, purple), clear quartz (because it seemed basic), and a rose quartz (for that love and self-love energy).

I found my biggest, flowiest scarf – it’s this black velvet thing with fringe – and draped it over my altar…which is really just my coffee table, but whatever. I lit the candles, put on some Fleetwood Mac (“Rhiannon,” obviously), and just sat there. I tried to, like, feel the vibes. It was surprisingly calming.

Day 2: Journaling and Intentions

Today was all about writing. I grabbed a notebook – a pretty one, with a celestial design – and started free-writing. I wrote down my thoughts, my feelings, what I wanted to manifest. I focused on self-confidence and creativity, two things I feel like Stevie really embodies. I didn’t worry about making sense, I just let it all flow out. I felt inspired after that.

Day 3: Dance and Movement

Stevie is all about that twirling, dramatic movement, right? So, I put on some more music – this time, I went with “Gypsy” – and just danced. I closed my eyes, spun around, let my arms flow. It felt silly at first, but then it felt…liberating. Like I was shaking off all the negative energy and just embracing the moment.

Day 4: Tarot Time

Okay, I’m a total newbie to tarot, but I figured I’d give it a shot. I got a basic Rider-Waite deck and followed a simple three-card spread (past, present, future). I Googled the meanings of the cards, and it was actually pretty interesting. I don’t know if I believe in it, but it definitely gave me some things to think about.

Day 5: Nature Walk and Reflection

  • Went to a local park for a walk.
  • Tried to be present and connect with nature.
  • Collected some leaves and stones.

I collected things that felt significant, or at least made me feel happy, like leaves and pretty stones. I brought them back to my “altar” and added them to the collection.

Day 6: Chanting and Affirmations

This felt a little weird, but I went for it. I found some simple affirmations online – things about strength, creativity, and self-love – and repeated them out loud. I also tried a little chanting. I just made up a simple melody and repeated the words “I am strong, I am creative, I am love.” It felt…powerful, actually. It was difficult at first, but I felt a surge of energy after finishing it.

Day 7: Reflection and Gratitude

On the last day, I just spent some time reflecting on the week. I lit my candles, looked at my little collection of stuff, and thought about what I’d learned. I realized that “witchcraft,” for me at least, isn’t about spells or anything supernatural. It’s about connecting with myself, my intuition, and the world around me. It’s about finding my inner strength and creativity. And, yeah, maybe wearing a lot of black velvet.

So, that was my Stevie Nicks witchcraft week. It was fun, a little silly, and surprisingly meaningful. I’m definitely going to keep some of these practices in my routine. Maybe I’ll even get a tambourine…
