Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with something totally new – “witchcraft rock.” I’d heard whispers of it, seen some pictures, but never actually tried to make any myself. It sounded kinda cool, kinda spooky, and definitely like a fun afternoon project.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to gather my supplies. I already had some basic black rocks that I’d picked up from my garden. the basic materials, that’s all I wanted.
- Black rocks: Smooth, flat ones are probably best.
- Some tools
The Process
I started simple, and tired to make it.
Honestly, the first few attempts were… rough. I’d press too hard, I had to try manytimes.

After a few tries, I started to get the hang of it. The trick, I realized, was to find the point.
The Final Result
Okay, so they’re not perfect. They’re definitely more “rustic” than “refined.” But you know what? I actually really like them! They have this raw, handmade feel that’s pretty charming. And they look kinda spooky-cool sitting on my desk, which is exactly what I was going for.
I’m definitely going to keep practicing. I might even try adding some color next time, maybe some deep reds or purples. Or maybe I’ll try to carve some actual symbols, that is what i am gonna do.

Anyway, that was my little adventure with “witchcraft rock” today. It was messy, a little frustrating at times, but ultimately a lot of fun. If you’re looking for a simple, creative project, I’d definitely recommend giving it a shot!
