Learn Green Witchcraft (Simple Practices for Nature Magic)

Learn Green Witchcraft: Simple Nature Magic and Herbal Practices

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this whole “green witchcraft” thing for a while now, and I gotta say, it’s been pretty interesting. I started with almost nothing, just a couple of sad-looking houseplants and a whole lot of curiosity.

Getting My Hands Dirty

First thing I did was, well, get some dirt. I went to the local garden store – felt totally out of my element, surrounded by all these seasoned gardeners. I grabbed a bag of potting soil, some basic terracotta pots, and a few packets of seeds. Chose some easy stuff to start: basil, mint, and chamomile. Figured if I could keep those alive, I was doing okay.

Back home, I filled those pots with soil, poked some holes with my finger (super scientific, I know), and dropped the seeds in. Watered them gently, trying not to drown the poor things. Then, I placed them on my windowsill, hoping they’d get enough sunlight.

The Waiting Game (and Some Minor Panic)

The next few days were a mix of excitement and worry. I checked on those little pots like five times a day. Was anything happening? Was I doing it wrong? One morning, I spotted it – tiny green sprouts pushing through the soil! Seriously, I almost cried. It felt like magic, even though I knew it was just, you know, nature.

  • Basil: Sprouted first, grew like crazy. Smelled amazing.
  • Mint: Took its sweet time, but eventually popped up. Super fragrant.
  • Chamomile: The slowest of the bunch, but the little flowers were so cute when they finally bloomed.

Experimenting and Expanding

Once I had the basics down, I started getting a little more adventurous. I learned about different herbs and their supposed properties – like rosemary for remembrance, lavender for calmness. I even tried making a simple tea with the mint and chamomile I’d grown. It tasted… earthy. But it felt good, knowing I’d made it from scratch.

I also collect the rain and put it on the small plants, It feels great.

I’m still a total newbie, but it’s been a fun journey. It’s not about spells or anything like that (at least, not for me). It’s more about connecting with nature, slowing down, and appreciating the little things. Plus, fresh herbs in my cooking? Yes, please!
