Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this whole “green witchcraft” thing for a while now, and I figured I’d share my little journey so far. It’s been… interesting, to say the least.
Getting Started
First, I gathered a bunch of stuff. I mean, you can’t really do much without the right tools, right? I got:
- Some basic herbs – rosemary, thyme, mint, the usual suspects. I even snagged some lavender from my neighbor’s garden (don’t tell her!).
- A few candles – mostly green and brown, ’cause, you know, nature colors.
- Some little jars and bottles. I’m a sucker for cute containers.
- A notebook and a pen, because I’m trying to be all organized and witchy.
- A mortar and pestle. Found a cheap one at a thrift store.
The Actual “Witchcraft” Part
So, with all my supplies assembled, I started experimenting. I looked up some simple spells and rituals online, mostly stuff for prosperity and good vibes. Nothing too crazy.
My first attempt was… a bit of a mess. I tried to make a little charm bag for good luck. I mixed some herbs, added a few drops of essential oil (lavender, of course), and sewed it all up in a little green pouch. I think I used too much oil, though, because the whole thing smelled pretty strong. And my sewing skills? Let’s just say it wasn’t exactly pretty.

I also tried a simple candle ritual. I lit a green candle, focused on my intentions (basically, just wanting more money, who doesn’t?), and let it burn down. It was… relaxing, actually. I’m not sure if it “worked,” but it definitely made me feel calmer.
Then I started playing with herbs. First, I ground up the dried rosemary with my trusty mortar and pestle. It smelled amazing, super fresh and earthy. I sprinkled some of that around my workspace, hoping it would boost my creativity. I also brewed some mint tea, which is supposed to be good for focus. Tasted pretty good, too!
The Results (So Far)
Honestly, I don’t know if any of this is actually “working” in a magical sense. But, I’m having fun, and that’s what matters, right? My little charm bag might be a bit smelly, but it’s a reminder of my intentions. The candle rituals are a nice way to unwind. And the herbal stuff? Well, at the very least, it makes my apartment smell nice.

I’m still learning, still experimenting. It’s a process. Maybe I’ll update you all later if I accidentally turn myself into a frog or something. For now, I’m just enjoying the ride, and embracing my inner green witch.
