Witchcraft Drawings for Your Grimoire: Best basic images and how to draw it.

My First Try at Witchcraft Drawings: A Fun and Imaginative Experience

Okay, so I’ve been seeing these super cool “witchcraft drawings” all over my feed lately, and I was like, “I gotta try this!” I’m no artist, mind you, but it looked fun, and I’m all about trying new things. So, here’s how my little adventure went.

Getting Started

First, I needed some inspiration. I spent a good hour just scrolling through pictures. There were so many different styles! Some were really detailed and realistic, others were more like doodles, and some were super symbolic. I decided I wanted to go for something in the middle – not too complicated, but not just stick figures either.

Gathering My Supplies

  • Paper: I just grabbed a regular sketchbook I had lying around. Nothing fancy.
  • Pencils: I found a couple of regular pencils, one darker and one lighter, for shading.
  • EraserI know I am not good at drawing, so a good eraser must be prepared.

The Drawing Process

I started with a basic idea: a simple scene with a cauldron, some herbs, and maybe a crystal ball. I wanted that classic witchy vibe, you know?

I am going to draw a cauldron first. I lightly sketched the shape of the cauldron first. It took a few tries to get it right – it kept looking like a lopsided bowl at first! Then, I added some flames underneath, just some squiggly lines, really.

Next, I drew some herbs hanging above the cauldron. I’m not sure what kind of herbs they are, I just drew some leafy shapes. I added a few little stars and dots around them to make it look magical.

Finally, I tried to draw the crystal ball. I drew a circle, added some shading on the bottom to make it look round, and a lighter area as the light, that’s it! I think I did a good job!

The Final Touches

Once I was happy with the basic shapes, I went over the lines with the darker pencil to make them stand out more. I used the lighter pencil to add some shading, especially around the cauldron and the crystal ball, to give them some dimension, also I used it to make a little shadow on the table. It’s not perfect, but I think it looks pretty cool!

Honestly, the whole thing took me maybe an hour, tops. It wasn’t about being perfect, it was about having fun and letting my imagination run wild. And you know what? I’m actually pretty proud of my little witchy drawing! I might even frame it and put it on my desk. Who knows, maybe this is the start of a whole new hobby for me!
