Okay, so I’ve been wanting to spice up my living room for a while, and I finally decided to go for it with a “witchcraft decor” theme. It sounded cool, and I figured, why not?
Getting Started
First, I gathered some stuff I already had. I’m talking about candles, some old jars, and a few crystals I’d picked up at a flea market ages ago. I figured these could be the foundation of my witchy vibe.
The Fun Part: Crafting
Then, I got to work. I took those plain old jars and filled them with different things. One got some dried flowers and herbs from my garden, another got some colored sand I found at a craft store, and the last one got filled with some shiny pebbles.
Next up, the candles. I didn’t want just plain white ones, so I melted down some old crayons and drizzled the colored wax over the candles to give them a more interesting look. It was a bit messy, but totally worth it!
Adding Some Greenery
I also wanted some plants. I’m not the best at keeping plants alive, so I went with some hardy ones like succulents and a snake plant. I put them in some plain terracotta pots, and then I painted some simple designs on the pots – moons, stars, that kind of thing.
Arranging Everything
Finally, it was time to put everything together. I cleared off my coffee table and started arranging the jars, candles, and crystals. I played around with it for a bit until it looked just right. The plants went on a shelf nearby, where they could get some sunlight.
The Final Result
Honestly, I’m pretty happy with how it all turned out! It’s definitely got that witchy vibe I was going for, and it was all pretty easy and cheap to do. The room feels much more “me” now. Mission accomplished, I guess!
