What is White Witchcraft? Simple Guide to Positive Magic & Spells

Okay, so I’ve been getting into this whole “white witchcraft” thing lately. It’s not as spooky as it sounds, I promise! It’s more about, like, positive vibes and working with nature’s energy. I wanted to share my little journey so far, ’cause it’s been pretty cool.

Getting Started: The Research

First, I did a ton of reading. Like, seriously, hours of scrolling through websites and blogs. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t accidentally going to summon anything I didn’t want to, you know? Safety first! I found a lot of stuff about different herbs, crystals, and the phases of the moon. It was a little overwhelming at first, but I just took it one step at a time.

My First Simple Spell: A Little Boost of Confidence

I decided to start super simple. I found this little spell for boosting confidence before a big presentation I had at work. It involved a yellow candle (for energy and success), a piece of citrine (a crystal that’s supposed to help with confidence), and some cinnamon (for good luck). I felt a little silly, but I went for it.

  • I found a quiet spot in my apartment.
  • Lit the yellow candle.
  • Held the citrine in my hand.
  • Sprinkled a tiny bit of cinnamon around the candle (not too much, it gets smokey!).
  • Closed my eyes and just focused on feeling confident and successful. I pictured myself rocking the presentation.

I did this for about 10 minutes, just breathing and visualizing. Honestly, I felt calmer and more centered afterward. Did the spell magically make me awesome at presenting? Maybe, maybe not. But it definitely helped me get into the right headspace. Placebo effect or not, I nailed that presentation!

Next Steps: Moon Magic

Now I’m getting into moon cycles. Apparently, the different phases of the moon are good for different things. Like, the new moon is good for setting intentions, and the full moon is good for releasing things you don’t need anymore. I haven’t tried anything too elaborate yet, but I’ve been lighting a white candle during the new moon and writing down what I want to manifest. It’s kind of like making a super-powered to-do list, and it feels good to be more intentional about what I’m putting out into the universe.

I’ll keep you guys updated on my witchy adventures. It is still the early days, but for now, it’s been a fun and surprisingly grounding experience. It is all about connecting with nature, setting good intentions, and, well, just believing in a little bit of magic. Who knows what I’ll try next? Maybe a potion… just kidding (mostly!).
