Okay, so I’ve been getting into this whole “white witchcraft” thing lately, and I figured, why not document my journey? It’s all pretty new to me, but I’m excited to see where it goes.
First Steps: Getting My Head in the Game
I started by, you know, just Googling stuff. “White witchcraft for beginners,” “easy spells,” that kind of thing. It was a bit overwhelming at first, tons of information, some of it kind of contradictory. But I kept at it, reading different blogs and forums, trying to get a feel for the basics.
Then, I decided to grab a notebook. A plain, old, spiral-bound one. I figured it would be good to write down my experiences, the spells I tried, and how they went. It helps me process everything, you know?

My First Attempt: A Simple Candle Spell
After a bit of research, I decided to try a really simple candle spell. I found this one online that was supposed to be for attracting positive energy. Sounded good to me!
So, here’s what I did:
- I found a white candle. Apparently, white is good for purity and new beginnings, which seemed fitting.
- I cleared a little space on my desk. I didn’t want any clutter around, just wanted a clean, calm area.
- I lit the candle and just kind of… focused. I didn’t have any fancy chants or anything, I just thought about the kind of positive energy I wanted to bring into my life. Stuff like feeling more confident, having more motivation, you know, general good vibes.
- I let the candle burn for about 15 minutes, just sitting there, trying to keep my mind focused. It was actually pretty relaxing.
- Then I blew it out. Simple as that.
The Aftermath: Did It Work?
Honestly? I’m not sure. It’s not like I suddenly won the lottery or anything. But, I did feel… calmer. More centered, maybe? Like I had taken a moment to just breathe and focus on what I wanted. Whether that’s the spell “working” or just the effect of taking some time for myself, I don’t know. But it felt good.
Next steps
I plan to try some other simple spells, maybe focusing on specific things like improving my focus or reducing stress. Also I will keep tracking my efforts, even if nothings happening.

I’m definitely still a beginner, but I’m enjoying the process. It’s kind of like a little self-care ritual, a way to connect with myself and my intentions. I’ll keep you guys posted on how it goes!
