Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “famous witchcraft” thing pop up all over my feeds, and, well, I got curious. I’m not gonna lie, the whole aesthetic is kinda cool, and I’ve always been a little drawn to the mystical side of things. So, I decided to dive in and see what it’s all about. This is my totally amateur, no-expert-here journey into it.
First Steps: The Research Rabbit Hole
First things first, I needed to figure out what I was even getting myself into. I started with some basic online searches, you know, just typing in “famous witchcraft” and seeing what came up. This led me down a HUGE rabbit hole. I mean, there’s SO much information out there, it’s kinda overwhelming. I ended up finding a few websites and forums that seemed pretty legit, at least as legit as you can get with this stuff. I mean, lots of folks are sharing their own experiences and tips.
- Read some articles. Seriously some of them are very imformative.
- Watched some videos. Find some good witcher videos, I mean, witcher, right?
Gathering My Supplies (aka Hitting the Shops)
Next, I figured I needed some, uh, “tools of the trade.” I didn’t want to go full-on, pentagram-on-the-floor, just yet. I kept it simple. I went to a local shop and picked up some:
- Candles: I got a few different colors, because apparently, different colors mean different things. Who knew?
- Crystals: I grabbed a couple that looked pretty and felt “right” in my hand. No idea if that’s how it works, but it felt good.
- Incense: My place is gonna smell AMAZING, even if the magic part doesn’t work out.
My First (Very Basic) Ritual
Okay, so armed with my newfound knowledge (and supplies), I decided to try a super simple ritual. I found one online that was supposed to be for “attracting positive energy.” Sounded good to me! I followed the instructions:

- Lit the candle. It was green, for prosperity, which never hurts.
- Burned some incense. My apartment smells good, so I have to do it.
- Held a crystal and “visualized” good things happening. Honestly, I mostly just thought about winning the lottery.
I sat there for a few minutes, trying to “feel the energy.” Did I feel anything? Honestly, not really. But I did feel kinda calm and relaxed, so that’s something, right?
The Aftermath (aka Did It Work?)
So, it’s been a few days since my little experiment. Have I suddenly become super rich and famous? Nope. Did I feel any magical tingling? Not really. But, you know what? I did feel a little…better. Maybe it was the placebo effect, maybe it was just taking some time for myself, but I felt a bit more positive and focused.
Will I continue my exploration of “famous witchcraft”? Maybe. It’s kinda fun, and it’s definitely interesting. I’m not expecting to become the next Merlin or anything, but who knows? At the very least, my apartment smells great, and I have some pretty cool crystals to look at. And that is my super casual, totally-not-an-expert take on my first foray into the world of “famous witchcraft.”
