Okay, so I saw this “Mia Goth lingerie” trend popping up and, well, I got curious. I’m not gonna lie, I’m a bit of a sucker for that vintage, kinda gothic aesthetic, and Mia Goth definitely rocks it. So I decided to give it a shot, see if I could pull off something similar. Not a full-on cosplay, just a little inspired fun.
First, I scoured my closet. I don’t own a ton of lingerie, to be honest. Mostly comfy stuff. But I did find this old black lace slip that I’d almost forgotten about. It’s got these delicate little straps and a bit of a sheer thing going on. Definitely a good starting point.
Then came the accessories. I have this choker, it’s black velvet with a tiny little silver cross. Super simple, but it adds that touch of, you know, “dark romance” or whatever. I also dug out some black stockings. The ones with the seams up the back, because why not be extra?

- Stockings: check.
I wasn’t really sure about shoes. Mia Goth often wears those chunky platform boots, but I didn’t have anything like that. I ended up just going with some simple black heels. Not too high, just enough to feel a little dressed up.
The Makeup
For makeup, I went simple. No crazy eyeshadow just to keep my face clear, foundation, a bit of contouring to emphasize the cheekbones (gotta get that Mia Goth bone structure, right?), and a dark red lipstick. I almost went with black, but I chickened out. Red felt a bit more…me. I was going to use a black eyepencil but it’s too bold.
Finally, I tousled my hair a bit. I didn’t want it to look too perfect. Messy, kinda undone, that’s the vibe I was going for. I even spritzed in a little texturizing spray to give it some grit.
Honestly, the whole thing took, like, 30 minutes? It wasn’t a huge production. And the result? I actually felt pretty good! It was fun to step outside my comfort zone, try something a little different. It’s not something I’d wear every day, obviously, but it was a fun little experiment. Made me feel a bit more confident, a bit more…alluring, I guess? I am statisfied.
