Okay, so I’ve been on this huge witchy kick lately, and I wanted to dive deep into TV shows about witchcraft. I figured, why not document my journey and share what I found? So here’s how it all went down.

Brainstorming and Initial Search
First, I grabbed my laptop and opened up my trusty notepad. I started by just jotting down any show that popped into my head that I’d heard of or seen before. I had a few in mind, but I knew there had to be way more out there.
Then, I fired up my search engine. I typed in stuff like “best tv shows about witches,” “witchcraft series,” and “supernatural shows with magic.” I wanted to get a good mix of the popular stuff and maybe some hidden gems.
Making a List and Checking It Twice
- I started compiling a massive list. I mean, there are a LOT of shows out there even remotely related to witchcraft.
- I decided to filter out some that were more about general fantasy and focus on ones where witchcraft was a central theme.
- I jotted down some notes next to each title, like the basic premise and where I could potentially watch it (streaming services, etc.).
Diving In and Taking Notes
This is where the real fun began. I started watching! I picked a few that sounded the most interesting from my list and dove right in.
As I watched, I took notes. I know, it sounds nerdy, but it helped me keep track of things like:
- How the show portrayed witchcraft (was it realistic, fantastical, dark, lighthearted?).
- The main characters and their powers.
- The overall storyline and whether it kept me hooked.
- Anything that really stood out to me (good or bad).

Narrowing Down the Favorites
After binging a bunch of episodes (and a few full seasons!), I started to see which shows I really connected with. Some were definitely better than others. Some started strong but fizzled out. Others were surprisingly good!
I used my notes to help me narrow down my list to a handful of favorites. These were the shows that I felt really captured the essence of what I was looking for – interesting portrayals of witchcraft, compelling characters, and engaging storylines.
It has been a journey of exploration, my record has given me a good direction, next time I want to find something I like, I just need to repeat the above steps.
