Gothic Style was founded by three young enthusiasts of Gothic and Feng Shui mysticism.
Emily and Lily met in 2016 through a Gothic group chat, and during their interactions, they discovered a shared passion for Gothic style and unique fashion insights. They formed a small group to share their Gothic lifestyle and frequently held Gothic gatherings.

In 2017, Zoey, an admirer of Feng Shui and mystical stories from Eastern cultures, joined their small team.
The three young people noticed that there were limited Gothic-style clothing and accessories available online, especially for everyday wear and plus-size Gothic women's clothing.
