Okay, so I’ve been on this huge witchy kick lately, and I needed more stuff to watch. I mean, I’ve seen all the usual suspects, you know? So, I decided to dive deep and find some good, maybe lesser-known, TV series about witchcraft.
Step 1: The Initial Google Search
First things first, I just Googled “tv series about witchcraft.” Pretty basic, right? I got a bunch of lists, some obvious choices, some I’d never heard of. I spent a good hour just scrolling through, making a mental note of anything that sounded even remotely interesting.
Step 2: IMDB to the Rescue
Next, I jumped over to IMDB. For each show I’d flagged, I checked out the ratings and reviews. Anything below, like, a 6.5, I immediately tossed out. Harsh, maybe, but I don’t have time to waste on total duds.
I also paid close attention to the user reviews. Were people saying it was cheesy? Did it have a good story? Were the characters engaging? This helped me narrow down my list even further.
Step 3: The Trailer Test
Then, I tried to find a trailer! Seriously, watching a trailer. See the vibe, you know? Get a feel for the acting, the special effects. This is important.
Step 4: Started Watching the Series
- Motherland: Fort Salem: It has interesting story, great special effects, and the characters are engaging!
- A Discovery of Witches: I really liked this series, and I couldn’t wait to see the next episode when I finished each episode.
Step 5: Making a List, Checking It Twice
As I went, I kept a list of the shows I tried, which I thought was nice to see. I didn’t keep searching for too long because I didn’t want to spend my whole time only searching for something.
So yeah, that’s pretty much my process. It’s not rocket science, but it worked for me! I found some cool new shows, which is all that matters. It is what it is. I did it. It’s all that matters.
