Okay, so, “goth lingerie.” I’ve been seeing this aesthetic everywhere lately, and, well, I got curious. I figured, why not try it out myself? Let the record show, this was totally new territory for me.
First things first, I scrolled through a bunch of online stores. Just to get an idea of what “goth lingerie” even means. It seemed like a lot of black lace, straps, maybe some crosses or chokers involved. Lots of velvet, too. Kinda intimidating, honestly.
After, like, an hour of browsing, I picked out a few pieces that seemed… manageable. I wasn’t about to go full-on Morticia Addams on the first try. I got a black lace bra with some strappy details, a matching high-waisted panty, and a simple black choker. Baby steps, people.
The Experiment
- Step 1: The Arrival. The package showed up, and I immediately hid it in my closet. I don’t know why, it just felt… secretive. Like I was doing something naughty. Which, I guess, is part of the fun?
- Step 2: Trying it On. Okay, this was the moment of truth. I locked the bathroom door (for extra drama, obviously) and put the stuff on. It actually wasn’t as uncomfortable as I thought it would be. The lace was surprisingly soft.
- Step 3: The Mirror. I looked at myself, and… wow. It definitely changed my vibe. I felt, like, way more powerful and mysterious. Way less “girl next door” and way more “I might know a few secrets.”

Honestly, the whole experience was kind of a rush. It was fun to step outside my comfort zone and try something completely different. Will I wear it every day? Probably not. But will I keep it for those days when I want to feel a little extra? Absolutely.
