Okay, so I’ve been seeing these gorgeous crystal cherry blossom trees all over Pinterest and I just had to try making one myself. I’m not gonna lie, it looked a little intimidating at first, but it turned out to be way easier than I thought! Here’s how I did it:

Gathering My Supplies
First, I needed to get all my stuff together. This is what my shopping list looked like:
- Copper wire: I found some thin, bendy wire at the craft store. You want something that will hold its shape but is also easy to twist.
- Crystal beads: I went with a mix of pink and clear ones, different sizes too, to make it look more, you know, natural.
- A base: I grabbed a cool-looking rock from my backyard, but you could use a piece of wood, a small ceramic dish, anything really.
- Pliers: Just some small needle-nose pliers to help with the wire twisting.
- Wire cutters: To snip the wire, obviously.
- Glue: I have used super glue.
Building the Branches
I started by cutting a bunch of wire pieces. I didn’t really measure, just eyeballed it. Some were longer, some shorter, for that organic branchy look. I used the pliers to twisted two pieces of wires, sometimes three. This is what makes the wire branches.
Adding the “Blossoms”
Next, the fun part – adding the crystal beads! I slipped a bead onto a wire, then twisted the wire a couple of times to secure it. I kept adding beads along the branches, mixing up the colors and sizes. It’s kinda like making tiny beaded flowers.

Creating the Tree Shape
Once I had a bunch of branches with beads, I started twisting them together to form the main trunk and bigger branches. This is where you can really get creative and shape your tree however you want. I wanted mine to look a little windswept, so I bent the branches more to one side.
Securing It to the Base
After I was happy with the tree shape, I positioned it on my rock. I used the remaining wires to hold the tree firmly to the stone, and added a little super glue to keep everything nice and secure. Make sure it’s good and stable before you let go!
The Finished Product!
And that’s it! My very own crystal cherry blossom tree. I put it on my windowsill, and it catches the light so beautifully. Seriously, it’s way prettier than I even imagined. If you’re looking for a fun, crafty project, you should totally give this a try!
