Christian Witchcraft: Unpacking the Controversy and Beliefs.

Christian Witchcraft: Exploring Beliefs & Practices

Okay, here’s my blog post about my experiences with “Christian Witchcraft,” written in the style you requested:

So, I got into this whole “Christian Witchcraft” thing a while back. I know, it sounds kinda weird, right? Like, aren’t those two things supposed to be, like, oil and water? But I was curious, and I’m always up for trying new spiritual stuff, so I dove in.

My First Baby Steps

First, I googled everything I could find. There wasn’t a ton of info, and some of it was pretty out there. Most I just skimmed, cause, I was a bit lost at the very beginning. I started to collect the useful and easy content and write it down on my notebook.

Then, I found a few books, I forget the names now. I read them, and some of the ideas seemed okay, but others felt a little… off. Like, they were trying too hard to mash two totally different things together.

Getting My Hands Dirty

I decided the best way to figure this out was to just try some stuff. I already had a pretty solid prayer routine, so I started there. I took my usual prayers and added in some things that felt more… witchy. You know, like lighting candles, holding crystals, and really focusing on the energy of my words.

  • Candles: I picked different colors based on what I was praying for. Like, green for healing, purple for spiritual growth, that kind of thing.
  • Crystals: I used clear quartz for clarity, amethyst for peace, and rose quartz for love (not just romantic love, but like, love for God and everyone).
  • Herbs: Then I tried burning some herbs. I have some basic herbs such as, Sage, Rosemary, and Lavende. It makes me feel comfortable.

I also started paying more attention to the moon cycles. I’d do special prayers and meditations during the new moon (for new beginnings) and the full moon (for letting go of stuff). Sounds corny, maybe, but it felt good.

What I’ve Noticed

Honestly, it’s been pretty cool. I feel like my prayers have more… oomph. Like, I’m not just saying words, I’m actually connecting with something bigger. I use it to connect with the elements of the universe, the earth, and the air.

I found the Bible useful, and I read it more ofter. I even found some versus seems fit in my ritual, and I added them into my prayer.

I’m still learning and figuring things out. It’s not like there’s a rule book for this stuff. But I’m enjoying the journey, and that’s what matters, right?

It’s all about finding what works for you and what helps you feel closer to God (or whatever you call the Divine). So, if you’re curious, give it a shot! Just be smart about it, do your research, and listen to your gut.
