Okay, so I’ve been seeing these super cute crystal beaded bracelets everywhere lately, and I finally decided to try making my own. I’m not gonna lie, it looked a little intimidating at first, but it turned out to be way easier than I thought!
Gathering My Supplies
First things first, I needed to get my supplies. I hit up a local craft store, but you could totally order this stuff online too. Here’s what I grabbed:
- Crystal beads: I went with a mix of sizes and colors, because, why not?
- Stretch cord: This is the stretchy string that holds the whole thing together. Make sure it’s strong!
- Scissors: Pretty self-explanatory, haha.
- Bead stopper or clip(optional): I used it, very helpful.
- Ruler or measuring tape(optional):I didn’t used, because I wrap around my wrist to measure.

Stringing the Beads
I started by cutting a piece of the stretch cord. I made sure to make it a bit longer, maybe a few inches to give me room to tie it off later. Then I put a bead stopper on the end, so my bead won’t slide off the other end.
Next, the fun part! I just started stringing the beads onto the cord.I didn’t put it in a specific order,I just picked my favourite color to start with.I just went with whatever felt right, mixing and matching the colors and sizes until I had enough to go around my wrist.

Before tying it off, I wrapped it around my wrist a couple of times to make sure it was the right size. Better to check now than to have to redo it later!
Tying the Knot
I used a surgeon’s *’s super * just loop the cord around like you’re tying a regular knot, but before you pull it tight, you loop one end through the loop *, pull it all tight!I did a few of the surgeon’s knots for make sure.
I gently tugged on the knot to make sure it was secure. Then, I carefully trimmed the extra cord, leaving just a tiny bit so it wouldn’t unravel. And… that was it!
The Finished Product!
Seriously, I was so surprised at how easy it was! And it looks so cute! I’ve already gotten a bunch of compliments on it. Now I’m totally hooked and planning to make a whole bunch more in different colors. It’s such a fun and easy craft, and you end up with something you can actually wear. Definitely give it a try!
