Okay, so, today I decided to dive into something a bit different – “gothic lingerie model” stuff. It sounded cool and edgy, and I wanted to see if I could pull it off.

First, I gathered some inspiration. I didn’t really know where to start, so I just looked at a bunch of pictures online. Lots of dark colors, lace, and, like, dramatic poses. I picked out a few that I thought were achievable, nothing too crazy.
Getting the Look
- Lingerie: I dug through my drawers and found a black lace bra and some matching underwear. It wasn’t exactly gothic, but it was a good starting point.
- Accessories: I added a simple black choker and some fishnet stockings. I thought about adding some darker, more dramatic jewelry, but I didn’t want to overdo it.
- Makeup:I put some black eyeliner and dark red lipstick.I even tried to make a smoky eyes, failed though.
The Shoot
I set up my phone on a tripod in my bedroom. It’s got the best lighting in the house, especially in the afternoon. I used the self-timer function, which gave me a few seconds to get into position.
Posing was the hardest part,I am not good at it!. I tried to copy some of the poses I saw in the pictures I found, but I felt super awkward. I ended up just doing what felt somewhat natural, trying to look a little mysterious and, you know, gothic. I took a bunch of pictures, experimenting with different angles and expressions.

The Results
Afterward, I looked through all the photos. Some of them were pretty bad, haha. But there were a few that I actually liked! The lighting was good, and the outfit looked pretty decent. I did some minor editing on my phone – just adjusting the brightness and contrast a bit – to make them look a little more polished.
Overall, it was a fun little experiment. I’m no professional model, but it was cool to step outside my comfort zone and try something new. And hey, I got a couple of pictures I’m not totally embarrassed to keep!
