Tree of Life Crystal Guide: Find Healing, Meaning & Power!

DIY Tree of Life Crystal: Craft Your Own Healing Tree with Stones

Okay, so I saw this “tree of life crystal” thing all over the internet, and I thought, “I gotta try that!” I’m not usually the most crafty person, but it looked pretty, and, hey, why not?

Gathering My Stuff

First, I needed to get all the materials. I scrounged around my house for some wire – I ended up using some old floral wire I had lying around. Then, I needed some crystals or stones. I found a box of old beads and polished stones from a jewelry-making kit I used, like, five years ago. Perfect! I also grabbed some pliers and wire cutters from my toolbox.

The Fiddly Part

Next, I started working on the base. I twisted a bunch of the wire together to make a circle. It wasn’t perfect, definitely a bit wonky, but it would do. Then came the tricky part – making the branches. I cut smaller pieces of wire and twisted them onto the circle, trying to make them look like tree branches. This took a while. My fingers got a little sore, and I may have bent the wire the wrong way a few times, but eventually, I had something that vaguely resembled a tree.

Adding the Sparkle

Now for the fun part! I took my little crystals and stones and started attaching them to the branches. I used the pliers to twist the wire around each stone, securing them in place. I tried to distribute the colors evenly, but honestly, I just kind of went with what felt right. Some branches got more stones, some got less. It was all about getting that “tree of life” vibe going.

The Finished Product (Almost)

After I’d attached all the stones, I spent some time adjusting the branches, bending them this way and that, trying to make the whole thing look balanced. It wasn’t exactly like the pictures I saw online, but it was mine. It’s definitely a little… rustic. Let’s call it “rustic charm.”

The Final Touches

I’m thinking I might add a little chain so I can hang it up. Or maybe I’ll glue it onto a piece of wood or something. I haven’t decided yet. But for now, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out! It was a fun little project, and it’s kind of cool to have something handmade, even if it’s not perfect.
