Okay, so I’ve been seeing these healing crystal bracelets everywhere lately, and I finally decided to give it a shot. I mean, who couldn’t use a little extra good vibes, right?
First, I spent some time digging around online to see what kinds of crystals were supposed to do what. It was a little overwhelming, honestly! There are so many options. I decided to focus on a few that seemed relevant to my life right now: amethyst for calm and stress relief, rose quartz for self-love and compassion, and citrine for a boost of positivity and energy.
Then, I headed to this cute little metaphysical shop nearby. I wanted to see the crystals in person and get a feel for which ones I was drawn to. The shop owner was super helpful, showing me different beads and explaining their properties. It was so interesting! After about an hour I picked out all the beads for my DIY bracelet.
- Smooth, round amethyst beads – a lovely, deep purple.
- Some slightly rougher rose quartz – a pale, gentle pink.
- A few citrine beads – all sunny and golden.
- Some extra helper small beads.
Making the Bracelet
The actual bracelet-making part? Way easier than I expected. The shop sold stretchy cord, so I just measured my wrist, cut a length of cord (giving myself some extra room), and started stringing the beads. I played around with the order a bit until I liked the pattern.

The trickiest part was tying the knot at the end. I watched a quick YouTube video to make sure I was doing it right – a simple surgeon’s knot. I tugged on it a few times to make sure it was secure, then I trimmed the extra cord. Done!
I’ve been wearing my bracelet for a few days now, and I have to say, I really like it. It is pretty, and it’s a nice little reminder of the intentions I set. Do I feel magically different? Maybe not magically, but I do feel a little more centered and positive. Even if it’s just a placebo effect, I’ll take it!
