Okay, so I’ve been wanting to make a purple crystal bracelet for a while now. I just love the look of amethyst and how it catches the light. So, I finally decided to give it a go!
Gathering My Supplies
First things first, I needed to get my materials together. I went down to my local craft store.I needed:
- Amethyst beads: I picked out a variety of sizes, some round, some faceted, just to mix it up.
- Stretch cord: Got some strong, clear elastic cord. I made sure it could handle the weight of the beads.
- Bead stopper or clip:That’s just to prevent beads falling when I string them.
- Scissors: For cutting the cord, obviously.
Getting Started
I laid out all my beads on a soft cloth. This helps to see them easily and keeps them from rolling away.I try different patterns.
Stringing the Beads
I cut a length of the stretch cord, a bit longer than my wrist size. I attached a bead stopper to one end so the beads wouldn’t slide off. Then, I just started stringing the beads!I follow the patterns that I just tried.

I made sure to pull the cord a little bit after adding a few beads, just to keep everything snug.
Finishing Up
Once all the beads were on, I carefully removed the bead * tie the two ends of the cord together with a surgeon’s knot.I pulled it really tight, and added an extra knot for good measure.
Finally, I carefully trimmed the excess cord, leaving just a tiny bit so the knot wouldn’t come undone.

The Final Result!
And that’s it! My very own purple crystal bracelet. It turned out even better than I imagined! It’s so sparkly,And it feels great to wear something I made * worth the effort!
