Okay, so I’ve been seeing these fluorite crystal bracelets everywhere, and they’re supposed to be good for, like, focus and clarity. I’m a total mess most of the time, so I figured, why not give it a shot? I decided I’d try to make my own, ’cause, you know, DIY is kinda my thing.
Gathering My Supplies
First, I needed the stuff. I went online to my favorite place that I bought all my tools, and I gotta say, it was a little overwhelming. So many beads! I ended up getting:
- Fluorite beads: Obviously! I went for some round ones, about 8mm, in a mix of purples and greens.
- Elastic cord: The stretchy kind, so the bracelet can, you know, go on my wrist. I got 0.8mm thickness, seemed like a good size.
- Scissors: For cutting the cord, duh.
- Bead needle: This was optional, but I figured it might make stringing the beads easier.
- Super glue: Just a tiny drop to secure the knot at the end.
Putting it All Together
Once I had all my materials laid out, I started by measuring my wrist. I just wrapped the elastic cord around, gave it a little extra slack, and cut it. Better to have too much than too little, right?
Next, I started stringing the beads. The bead needle was actually super helpful here. It made it way easier to get the cord through those tiny holes. I just kept adding beads until I had enough to go around my wrist comfortably. I didn’t really follow a pattern, just kinda went with what felt right, mixing up the colors.
The trickiest part was definitely tying the knot. I did a simple surgeon’s knot, which is basically like tying your shoelaces, but twice. I pulled it really, really tight, then added a tiny dab of super glue to make sure it wouldn’t come undone. Trimmed the excess cord, and that was it!

The Finished Product
Honestly, it turned out way better than I expected! It’s super pretty, and it actually feels kind of…grounding? Maybe it’s just the placebo effect, but I feel a little less scattered when I’m wearing it. I put it on the rest of the day, and it’s great! I keep looking down to see it. I am going to make another one!
It was a super fun and easy project, and now I have a cool new bracelet. Plus, I can say I made it myself, which is always a bonus. If you’re looking for a little something to boost your focus (or just want a pretty bracelet), I’d definitely recommend giving this a try!
