Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little adventure with the symbols of witchcraft. It’s gonna be a bumpy ride, so buckle up!
So, I got this crazy idea to explore witchcraft symbols. Don’t ask me why, it just popped into my head. First, I rummaged through my attic, looking for anything “witchy” my grandma might have left behind. Found some dusty old books, a weird-looking necklace, and a whole lot of cobwebs.
Getting Started
I started by picking out the most common symbols I’d seen around – the pentacle, the triple moon, and that Ankh thingy. Figured those were a good starting point.
- Pentacle: This five-pointed star in a circle was everywhere. I drew it on paper, traced it in the dirt, even tried to make one out of twigs. It felt… powerful, in a weird way.
- Triple Moon: This one represents the Maiden, Mother, and Crone – basically, the different phases of a woman’s life. I sketched it on my mirror with lipstick (don’t tell my wife!). It felt kinda feminine and mystical.
- Ankh: This looks like a cross with a loop on top. I carved a small one out of a piece of soapstone I had lying around. Holding it felt… ancient. Like I was connecting to something really, really old.
Experimenting with the Symbols
Next step, get to the root of these symbols.

Then, I decided to get a little more hands-on. I gathered some candles, some herbs (lavender and rosemary, because they smelled nice), and some crystals (just because they looked cool). I set up a little altar in my backyard – a flat rock with all my stuff on it.
I lit the candles, held the pentacle in my hand, and tried to “feel” the energy. Honestly, I mostly felt like I was going to burn my fingers. But hey, I kept going!
I did the same with the triple moon and the Ankh. I closed my eyes, breathed deep, and tried to imagine what these symbols meant to the people who used them. I didn’t get any sudden visions or anything, but it was surprisingly relaxing.

The Result
So, what did I achieve? Well, I didn’t become a master witch or anything. But I did have fun. I learned a bit about history and symbolism. And I discovered that messing around with candles and crystals can be pretty chill.
Would I do it again? Maybe. It was definitely an interesting experience. And who knows, maybe I’ll unlock some hidden powers next time. (Just kidding… mostly.)
