Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with some “witchcraft clothing” ideas. I’ve been seeing these awesome witchy vibes all over my Pinterest and Instagram, and I figured, why not try to make my own?
Getting Started
First, I gathered some old clothes from my closet. I picked out a plain black t-shirt, a long, flowy skirt that I never wear, and some ripped-up jeans. I also grabbed some fabric scraps I had lying around – some lace, some velvet, just random bits and pieces.
Then, I needed some inspiration. I scrolled through a bunch of pictures online, looking at different styles. I saw a lot of cool stuff – long, draped cardigans, dresses with moon and star patterns, and even some clothes with embroidered symbols.
The Process
I decided to start with the t-shirt. I took some scissors and cut the sleeves off, making it a tank top. Then I found a piece of black lace and sewed it around the neckline, just to give it a little extra something. It wasn’t perfect, but it looked pretty cool!

Next, I moved on to the skirt. I thought about adding some patches, maybe some with celestial designs. I didn’t have any iron-on patches, so I decided to try drawing something on with fabric markers. I’m not the best artist, but I managed to draw a simple crescent moon on one of the panels. It looked kind of messy, but in a good, witchy way.
- Cut up a T-shirt
- Sewed on Some Lace
- Draw a Moon on a Skirt.
The Final Result(almost)
I tried everything on, and it was… interesting. The t-shirt and skirt looked okay together, but it definitely needed something more. I’m thinking about adding some accessories – maybe a long necklace with a crystal pendant, or some chunky rings. And I might try to distress the skirt a bit more, maybe add some rips or fray the edges.
It’s not perfect, but it was a fun experiment! I’m definitely going to keep playing around with this idea and see what else I can * is a pretty good try for me.
