Okay, so the other day I was super bored and decided to dive into the whole “teenage witchcraft movies” thing. I’ve always been a bit curious about that genre, so I figured, why not?
First, I just started Googling. You know, the usual – “best teenage witch movies,” “teen witch movies list,” stuff like that. I ended up with a bunch of websites, some with pretty long lists. I skimmed through a few, jotting down titles that sounded interesting or that popped up multiple times.
My Makeshift Watchlist
- The Craft (obviously)
- Practical Magic (a classic!)
- Teen Witch (the name says it all)
- Sabrina the Teenage Witch (the movie, not just the show)
- A few others I can’t remember right now…
Then, I started to hunt down where I could actually watch these movies. Some were on streaming services I already had, which was awesome. Others? Not so much. I had to do some digging, checking different platforms, and even considering, gasp, renting one or two. Don’t judge, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do for a movie night!
After I figured out the logistics, I made some popcorn, got comfy on the couch, and started my marathon. I watched “The Craft” first, which was pretty cool and definitely set the mood. I followed that up with “Practical Magic,” which is more of a rom-com with witches, but still fun.
Honestly, I didn’t get through the whole list in one go. It was a lot of teenage witchy-ness for one night. But, I’ve got a good start, and I’m planning on tackling the rest of them this week. It’s actually been a pretty entertaining way to spend some downtime, and I’m kind of getting into the whole vibe of these movies. Who knew?
