Trad goth dti : Create your favorite classic goth.

Creating a Trad Goth Look with an Avatar Editor: A Fun Experiment

Okay, so I wanted to mess around with that “trad goth” look, specifically using one of those “dress to impress” avatar editors. You know, the ones where you can just slap clothes on a model? I’m calling it “trad goth dti” ’cause, well, that’s what it felt like I was doing.

First, I spent like an hour just scrolling through Pinterest. I had a vague idea of what “trad goth” meant – you know, like, old-school goth – but I needed some solid visuals. I ended up with a board full of Siouxsie Sioux, The Cure, and a bunch of those old-school black and white photos of people with HUGE hair.

Finding the Right Stuff

Next up. I went to website and start to play this game.

  • Looked for Dark Colors:This, easy part.
  • Found Some Lace:Because i saw it online.
  • Big Hair Don’t Care:This thing did not show big hair at all.

Putting It All Together

I started with a basic black dress. I found one that was kinda long and flowy, which seemed right. Then I layered some ripped fishnets underneath ’cause, again, seemed very “trad goth.”

The makeup was the fun part. I went heavy on the black eyeliner – like, REALLY heavy. I tried to do that classic Siouxsie Sioux winged liner thing, but it’s harder than it looks! I settled for a more smudged-out look, which I think still worked.

I added a dark lipstick – almost black, but not quite. And of course, I piled on the pale foundation. Gotta get that ghostly look, right?

I feel like I got something that at least hints at trad * is interesting, i may do it next time.
