Okay, here’s my blog post about finding songs that correlate with witchcraft, written in a casual, personal style, and using simple HTML tags:
So, the other day I got this kinda weird idea. I wanted to make a playlist, but not just any playlist. I wanted a collection of songs that, like, felt witchy, you know? Not necessarily songs about witches, but ones that had that vibe, that energy. I’ve gotten into witchcraft a bit more in my life so it made sense that maybe I should dive deeper into this.
First, I just sat down and brainstormed. I closed my eyes, took a few deep breaths, and just let song titles and artists pop into my head. I grabbed my notebook (a real, physical notebook, because I’m old-school like that) and started scribbling down anything that came to mind. Stuff like “Rhiannon” by Fleetwood Mac was an obvious one, but I also wrote down some more obscure stuff, just based on the feeling I got from the music.
Next, I turned to the internet, specifically the witchcraft community part of it. I found everything! Then I found some song recommendations.
I spent a good few hours just listening. Some songs I immediately clicked with – they had that dark, mystical, or empowering feeling I was looking for. Others, not so much. It was all about the gut feeling, really. I used all my senses. My notebook has lots of words to descibe each feeling from each song.
My “Witchy Vibes” Playlist (So Far)
Here’s a peek at what I’ve got so far. It’s definitely a work in progress, and I’m always adding to it:
- “Rhiannon” – Fleetwood Mac (classic!)
- “Season of the Witch” – Donovan (the title says it all)
- “Witchcraft” – Frank Sinatra(had no idea about it)
- “Black Magic Woman”- Fleetwood Mac (had to add)

The cool thing is, everyone’s interpretation of “witchy” is going to be different. One song might totally resonate with me, and you might not feel it at all. That’s what makes it so fun! It’s all about finding the music that connects with your personal practice, your energy. I used lots of my own energy and thoughts to make my own.
I’d love to hear what songs give you witchy vibes! Share them and I can check them out!
