Gothic Mens Clothing: Shop Suits, Shirts & More | GothicStyle.online

Alright, let’s talk about them… uh… gothic clothes for men, yeah? I ain’t no fancy fashion expert, but I know what I see. My grandson, that young whippersnapper, he’s into all this dark stuff. So, I see it, I hear it, and I kinda get it now, ya know?

First off, it’s all about black. Like, everything’s black. Black shirts, black pants, black jackets… you name it, it’s black. Sometimes they throw in some other dark colors, like, uh… dark purple or dark red, but mostly, it’s black. Makes ’em look like they’re always ready for a funeral, if you ask me. But hey, that’s their thing, not mine.

Then there’s the fancy stuff on the clothes. Lots of… uh… what do you call it? Lace? Yeah, lace! And velvet, that shiny stuff. And sometimes leather, like them biker jackets, but blacker. And all these little… uh… designs, like swirls and stuff. It’s kinda pretty, in a spooky kinda way. My grandma used to have lace curtains, but these clothes got way more of it, all over the place.

My grandson, he wears these shirts with pictures on ’em. Bands, he calls ’em. They look kinda scary, with all that makeup and weird hair. But he says they’re good music. I don’t get it, but he likes it. He also wears these things on his wrists, with little pointy things sticking out. Studs, he calls ’em. Looks dangerous to me, but he says it’s cool. Kids these days, I tell ya.

  • Shirts: Like I said, lots of black. Sometimes they got them band pictures, sometimes just plain black. And sometimes they got that lace stuff, or those see-through… uh… net things. Fishnet, that’s it! My grandson wears ’em under his shirts sometimes. Says it’s stylish. I just say it’s drafty.
  • Pants: Mostly black jeans, but tight ones. He tucks ’em into his boots. Big black boots, of course. Sometimes they got buckles and straps all over ’em. Looks like he’s ready to go horseback riding, but he just goes to the… uh… club, I think he calls it. Plays that loud music.
  • Jackets: Leather jackets, mostly. But not like them regular biker jackets. These are longer, and got more… uh… details. Like, those pointy things on the shoulders, and zippers everywhere. And sometimes they got that velvet stuff on the collar. Fancy, but still black.
  • Accessories: Oh boy, this is where it gets weird. He wears all sorts of rings, on every finger. And necklaces, lots of ’em, with chains and crosses and stuff. And he paints his nails black. Black nails! Can you believe it? And sometimes he wears gloves, those lacey ones or the fishnet ones. Says it makes him look cool. I say it makes him look like he’s gonna rob a bank, but what do I know?

Now, they call this… uh… “traditional goth”, like it’s been around forever. My grandson says it’s from the 80s, when them bands with the crazy hair and makeup were popular. Bauhaus, Sioux, The Cure… sounds like a bunch of gibberish to me, but he says they’re important. Guess it’s like my old country music, just a different kind of noise.

You can find this stuff all over, I guess. My grandson, he buys it online, from some place called… Rebels Market? Something like that. They got all sorts of gothic clothes, suits and shirts and everything. Says they ship it all over the world. Must be a lot of folks who like dressing up like they’re going to a Halloween party every day.

So, that’s what I know about gothic clothes for men. It’s black, it’s got lace and velvet, it’s got bands and studs, and it’s a little bit weird. But hey, if it makes them happy, who am I to judge? Just don’t ask me to wear it. I’ll stick to my floral dresses, thank you very much.
