Okay, so the other day, I got this crazy idea to make a “witchcraft ball.” I’d seen some cool stuff online, and I figured, why not give it a shot? I’m no expert, just someone who likes messing around with crafts, so bear with me if this isn’t perfect.
Gathering My Stuff
First things first, I needed to gather all my materials. This is what I ended up using:
- A clear plastic ornament ball (the kind you can fill)
- Some dried flowers and herbs (I used lavender, rosemary, and some little rosebuds)
- Small crystals (I had some amethyst and clear quartz laying around)
- A bit of glitter (because, why not?)
- Some string or ribbon to hang it
- Some glue
Putting It All Together
I started by carefully opening the ornament ball. It split into two halves, which made things easier. Then, I took a pinch of each of my dried flowers and herbs and placed them inside one half of the ball. I tried to arrange them nicely, but honestly, it’s going to get all mixed up anyway, so I didn’t stress too much about it.
Next, I added my crystals. I put in a few small amethyst pieces and a couple of clear quartz points. I just liked the way they looked together. Then came the glitter – just a sprinkle to give it a little sparkle. I didn’t want to overdo it, just a touch of magic, you know?

Once everything was inside, I carefully put the two halves of the ornament back together. and I used a little bit of glue.
Finally, I tied some black ribbon to the top of the ornament so I could hang it up.

The Finished Product
And that’s it! My very own witchcraft ball. It’s not perfect, but I like how it turned out. It’s hanging in my window now, catching the light. Did it work? Well It’s really simple! I just made a very lovely looking decoration.
