Trad Goth Makeup Male: Easy Steps | Get the Dark Look!

My Try at the Male Trad Goth Makeup Look

Alright, so I decided to try out that trad goth makeup look, the male version. I’ve always been kinda fascinated by the whole goth subculture, and the makeup is just so dramatic and cool. Figured, why not give it a shot?

Getting Started

First, I made sure my face was clean. I Used my usual cleanser and moisturizer, a pretty basic starting step. Gotta have a good base, you know?

The Base

  • Foundation: Used my fingers and applied a fair layer over my whole face, and blended it down my neck, I didn’t want any weird lines.
  • Concealer: I used my fingers used some to hit those under-eye circles and any red spots, and the trick I learned is blending it out with a damp sponge.

The Eyes

This is where things got interesting, I was feeling it.

  • Eyeshadow: I used my caheap black eyeshadow, and packed it all over my lid, going a bit above the crease, winging it out a little.
  • Eyeliner:I went with a black pencil liner, and just traced around my lash line. then filled it in.

The Lips

I don’t have black lipstick so i decided to use a trick i watched:

  • Black Eyeshadow: I have used the same eyeshadow, and fill my lips after using a regular lip balm.

The Finishing Touches

I looked in the mirror, and yeah, I felt pretty goth. I didn’t have any setting spray, but it seemed to hold up okay, a little messy and smudged, but that actually kinda added to the vibe.

Honestly, it was way easier than I thought. It’s definitely a bold look, and I got a few stares when I went out to grab coffee, but hey, it was fun. Might try it again sometime, maybe with even more eyeliner next time.
