Okay, here’s my blog post about my “water witchcraft” experiment, written in a casual, personal style:
So, I’ve been messing around with this whole “water witching” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I’m not saying I’m some kind of water wizard now, but I definitely got something to happen. Here is the process.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed some stuff. I Used a couple of bent metal rods, shaped like an “L.”
The Hunt
Next up, the actual “witching.” I walked around my yard, holding the rods out in front of me, nice and * key, from what I gathered is to let the rods move freely.

- Walked slowly.
- Kept the rods level.
- Cleared my mind(this was the hardest part!).
Feeling the Pull…Or Something
Okay, so here’s where it got weird. As I walked over a certain spot, the rods started to…twitch. Seriously! They crossed each other, making an “X” shape. I stopped, totally freaked out, and marked the spot. It was an area with no clear indication of what was special, an ordinary lawn.
Then I tried to move away, they returned to their original positions. I did that a few times, trying to disprove my own feelings, but it still worked every time.
The “Result”
I haven’t dug down to China yet to see if there’s actually water there (my HOA might have something to say about that). But the fact that the rods moved at all, and consistently in the same spot, was enough to make me a believer…or at least, a believer that something is going on. I think my experiment was a success, at least on the surface level, and it was fun to do.
I’ll be back when i have more results about it!
