Alright, so the other day I was thinking, “I need some good movie recommendations.” And not just any movies, I wanted something with a bit of magic, you know? So, I decided to dive into the world of movies about witchcraft.
First, I grabbed my laptop and opened up my trusty search engine. I just typed in “movies about witchcraft,” plain and simple. I figured that would give me a broad starting point.
The results? Oh boy, it was a LOT. I mean, pages and pages of stuff. I started scrolling, and felt my eyes go wide to see so much content that show up, I mean where should I even begin to look?

- Some looked super old, like black and white old.
- Others were clearly newer, with all the fancy special effects.
Digging Deeper to find better movies
I realized I needed to be more specific. So, I added some extra words to my search. Things like “best,” “classic,” and “modern” to see what would pop up.
I also started looking at some of the lists that came up. You know, those “Top 10 Witch Movies” kind of articles. Those were pretty helpful because they usually had little summaries, so I could get a feel for the movie before committing to watching the whole thing, It’s like a sneak peek!
I also checked what other keywords they used a lot, and then put those new words back into my search engine. I keep doing that until I got movies on my list that look intersting.
The final step, what I end up with
After a while of searching and reading, I made my own list of movies that sounded interesting. I picked a mix of older ones and newer ones, some that looked spooky, and some that seemed more fun and lighthearted.
